The formation menu: hundreds of combinations, one ideal.

Hundreds of combinations, one ideal: as innocent as a menu, as dangerous as a season. Whatever you pick, tomorrow you might say “if only”.

A data file is not the same as game logic

The project report's static inspection separates the Windows platform layer from the game logic; it describes fixed-size records, country-specific competition classes and name lookups at start-up. These are reported findings, not a code analysis redone here.

The match engine is a reference design

The second part of the report is a reference design for the match engine, AI and transfer market; it is not CM's solved algorithm.

A learning experiment

Repeat results with the same random seed, change a single variable and measure the difference by testing save loading.

  1. Start an experiment season.
  2. Keep the same random seed.
  3. Change a single variable.
  4. Test save loading and measure the difference.
