New game, new country
The moment you press New Game your plans for the evening change. Choose the leagues you want with Select League(s) and the starting calendar with Select Start Season. Choosing a league is not the same as a country existing in the database.

If you tell yourself “just one match” tonight, you are fooling nobody. Even if dinner is called from the next room, the manager career answers first.

The plan was “take a quick look at one league”, and now you are on a world tour with the suitcase still under the bed. The screen quietly keeps inviting you to another country.
Start season: 2026/27
A familiar engine, a calendar turned 25 years forward. Set the manager name and nationality and finish the team selection. Leagues played over a European or calendar-year season can start differently; check the season on screen.

The same old engine with a calendar wound forward 25 years, as if the computer simply slept through the decades. The names have changed; the familiar creak has not.

Pick a badge and start writing its story, but judge it by the striker, not the colour of the shirt. Badges are lovely; a striker who scores is lovelier.
